  • Temperament: Cold, Moist

  • Action(s): Lubricating agent for intestine (Muzliq-e-Ama), Soothing agent (Musakkin), Resolvent (Mohallil)

  • Theraputic Use(s): Inflammation of intestine(Waram-e-Ama), Intestinal obstruction(Sudda-e-Ama), Dysentery(Zaheer), Bilious Diarrhoea(Ishaal Safravi)

  • Dose: 5-7 g.
