BED MUSHK

The drug Bed mushk consists of dried flowers (catkins) of Salix caprea L. (Salicaceae); a small tree distributed in northern Asia. Europe and also found in abundant in Peshawar and Lahore, where it is said to have been introduced from Kashmir. Flowering and fruiting take place in spring season
Temperament: Cold l°, Dry2°
Action(s): Cardiotonic (Muqawwi-e-Qalb), Attenuant (Mulattif), Exhilarant (Mufarreh)
Theraputic Use(s): Cardiac insufficiency(Zof-e-Qalb), Palpitation(Khafaqan), Gastric debility(Zof-e-Meda), Hepatic debility (Zof-e-Kabid)
Dose: 5 g.
