The drug Baqla consists of dried seeds of Vicia faba L. (Fabaceae); a woody annual herb native of North -Africa and North -West Asia it is also cultivated all over India. The plant occurs during October to April. The flowering and fruiting takes place from December to March

Theraputic Use(s): Hoarseness of voice (Bohat-us-Saut), Uvulitis (Waram-e-Lauzatain), Cough(Sual)
